A cacophony of bird sound is unique to the Island thanks to the work of the Abel Tasman Birdsong Trust. A portion of your ticket price also goes to supporting there work. This trip is 100% paddle power which also helps reduce your carbon footprint. The forest-fringed Astrolabe is a stunning place to explore and it also offers the highest concentration of golden sandy beaches in the Abel Tasman. Simply an amazing day covering all the special elements the Abel Tasman offers.If conditions permit, kayak-sail back into Marahau on the afternoon sea breeze.

We also provide high-quality soft gear - fitted for each client by our guides and high-quality hard gear – customised for comfort for each client.
